Hot Waterstone Shiatsu and Massage
Windsong College of Healing Arts offers the Japanese traditional Hot Waterstone Shiatsu (Finger Pressure) and Massage (Full Massage with stones and Oils) as taught to Lori-Ann MacLeod by her Sensei Tamaki Tezuka. Stones can be laid out in patterns to heat and prepare Shiatsu lines for treatment or used as massage tools for full body Anma Massage. The therapy is deeply relaxing and invigorating as circulation is increased and toxins are shed.
This three day workshop teaches the main elements of stone therapy, benefits, types of stones used, and how to safely perform a treatment. All supplies included. Students will have one day of practical application with clients.
The additional requirements are to be completed by students outside of the hours of training. It is the responsibility of the student to record and submit their training:
Students wishing full certification must complete 10 documented Hot Waterstone Oils Massages outside of class time.
Onsite 4 day Retreat cost: $300
Graduates should budget $400 to purchase equipment and supplies to perform Hot Waterstone Shiatsu and Massage in their Practice. (Does not include Massage Table or Futon Mats)
