Hot Waterstone Shiatsu and Massage

Windsong College of Healing Arts offers the Japanese traditional Hot Waterstone Shiatsu (Finger Pressure) and Massage (Full Massage with stones and Oils) as taught to Lori-Ann MacLeod by her Sensei Tamaki Tezuka. Stones can be laid out in patterns to heat and prepare Shiatsu lines for treatment or used as massage tools for full body Anma Massage. The therapy is deeply relaxing and invigorating as circulation is increased and toxins are shed.

This combined distance online and 5 day onsite skills lab and clinical study teaches the main elements of stone therapy, benefits, types of stones used, and how to safely perform a treatment. All supplies included. Students will have a performance demo practical test with a client. Bodywork or Massage experience is an asset in this course.

Hot Waterstone Shiatsu and Massage is credentialed with the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada Association as a specialty (S) for Professional Practice under NOC code 3232. A certificate of completion requires a final exam and performance demonstration be successfully completed.
