Certified Holistic Health and Shiatsu Practitioner
11 Month Combined Distance
Windsong College of Healing Arts offers the Certified Holistic Health and Shiatsu Practitioner Diploma in a 35+ Hours per Week Intensive Full Time Combined Distance where each Module is credited towards the Diploma leading toward the Certified Holistic Health Practitioner™ and Integrated Shiatsu Therapist Professional Titles. Each module builds learning towards the practice as a Certified Holistic Health Practitioner™. This offering is Full Time for 49 weeks with an expected minimum study time of 35+ hours per week for a full total of 52 weeks with breaks. Courses required are Oriental Bodywork, Energy Medicine, Meridian Floor Shiatsu, and Elemental Iridologist. Courses include #100 220 hours of Anatomy Physiology Pathology Holistic Health Connection (APPHHC) and #106 Ethics & Business. Our Winter, Summer and Fall Intensives give you an extra 10 weeks to complete Case Study Work with online supervised guidance.
The Distance Combined Studies method of program is Designated to be student loan eligible, HRDC eligible, Educational Fund Eligible, and Bank Student Line of credit eligible. We are a Ministry of Advanced Private Training Institutes Branch Designated College to use your Scholarships and Bursaries at. We are Designated by the EQA for foreign students to obtain Study Visas for the duration of the program Onsite.
The Intensive study fits well into HRDC and WBC Retraining Funding, and is recommended for those aiming at entering the workplace with skills ready to go sooner rather than later. The Intensive is not recommended for students unable to commit to more than 20 hours of study per week.

As an Intensive Student, your Diploma is completed in 12 months and you are ready to start your new career!
The assignments have deadlines. You are required to study at a set pace and attend Online Seminars twice weekly. This ensures that you are on track, keeping up, and that any questions you have are answered quickly. Your Online is Instructor Led!
If you are prone to procrastination or need assistance with your study habits, the Distance Combined forces you to keep up with your assignments. Remember consistent Instructor support is provided even when you are not in classroom.
You will become familiar with the students taking the course before you get practical/onsite studies. Many already forge friendships before meeting in person.
As an Intensive Student, you are onsite for your practical training skills labs and required hours of Supervised Shiatsu Practical student clinic onsite in our Student Clinic Spa. You will enter your Case Studies confident that your skills are current and fresh.
The Distance portion of your learning can be done any time of day. Weekly seminars are scheduled Monday and/or Tuesday and/or Wednesdays at 6pm Pacific Standard Time for 1 to 2 hours to help you schedule and clarify concepts with Instructor guidance and Seminar Discussion.
You can do your Case Studies and Healership skills in your hometown by distance, allowing you to create client confidence prior to opening your practice.
